Stanley Tucci says the next season of his Emmy-nominated travel and food series will move from Italy to the United Kingdom, where he has lived for nearly 15 years. He believes the country’s produce, seafood, meat and food producers offer rich material for the programme, extending his focus beyond high-end restaurants to the people behind local food.

Tucci, nearly 66, is nominated again as host and executive producer of Nat Geo’s “Tucci in Italy”, following three Emmy wins for CNN’s earlier “Searching for Italy”. He said travel television has allowed him to meet devoted chefs, farmers, home cooks and makers, while he also tries to balance a busy acting and directing career with spending more time at home.
