IDW Publishing has launched a new Star Trek comic series that continues the story of Seven of Nine and the USS Enterprise-G, following the apparent cancellation of the Star Trek: Legacy television spin-off. The new series follows the Federation's exploration of a previously unknown region of space called the Epsilon Corridor, where a fleet of Starfleet vessels seeks to establish a new home for displaced alien refugees, with Seven of Nine commanding the Enterprise-G at the forefront of this mission.

Issue #2, arriving on shelves on 18 November, sees the Enterprise-G accompanied by the heavily armed USS Lewis and the Vulcan ship VSS Skon as they discover a seemingly idyllic world suitable for settlement. However, tensions rapidly escalate into open conflict amongst the three vessels, leaving readers uncertain whether the stress of their mission or an external alien force is driving a wedge between the crews. The comic features Seven of Nine alongside characters introduced in Picard—Jack Crusher and Sidney LaForge—as well as legacy characters including Worf's son Alexander Rohzenko and Lily Sato, a descendant of the Enterprise linguistics specialist Hoshi Sato.
