- The group is seeking charities to support next.

## Summary

Phoenix Squad, a Star Wars costuming group formed in Yorkshire in 2024, visits shopping centres and other events in character to entertain families and raise money for charity. Its 40 members have raised more than £20,000, combining elaborate costumes with community fundraising.

The group has supported Brainkind and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, giving them £10,000 and £10,299 respectively, and is now fundraising for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice while seeking further charities. Members travel across the region, and say the appearances bring joy to children and help introduce Star Wars and lightsaber skills to families.
