Starz Drops Trailer For British Boxing Drama ‘Fightland’
Starz has released the official trailer for its new British boxing drama Fightland, which is due to premiere on 31 July 2026. The release marks the studio's build-up to the launch of a series pitched as a story of redemption, betrayal and brutal ambition set both inside and outside the boxing ring.
The drama follows British-born heavyweight champion Duke Kilroy (Howard Charles), whose brother Calvin is killed in a vicious assault on the night Duke wins his world title. Duke's response lands him eight years in a US prison, and on his release he returns home seeking revenge against the criminal kingpin and former promoter he blames, Kingsley Marshall (Nicholas Pinnock). With Marshall having vanished, Duke works with a cartel to infiltrate and dismantle his empire, while entangled with Marshall's wife Joy (Deborah Ayorinde), the love of his life. The cast also includes Anita-Joy Uwajeh, Charles Babalola, Tahirah Sharif, Tyler Conti and Richard Pepple.
