Comedian Stavros Halkias has confirmed that his second Netflix stand-up special, Uncle Stav, will premiere on the platform on 8 September 2026. The announcement follows his 2023 debut special Fat Rascal and reflects his growing profile as one of Netflix's regular comedy talents, alongside a busy stretch of film and TV work.

The special was taped at The Lyric in Halkias's hometown of Baltimore in July, directed by Matt Johnson, who also directs Halkias's upcoming A24 film Tony. Taping had originally been planned for April but was delayed after Halkias broke his arm; the title's family-themed name nods to his recurring "weird uncle" jokes. Halkias, who rose to prominence via the podcast Cum Town and now hosts Stavvy's World, also appears in Netflix's Tires (returning 13 August) and has expanded into film, including Bugonia and forthcoming roles in Tony and Judd Apatow's The Comeback King.
