STEEL PANTHER’s New Album To Arrive In Spring 2027: ‘It Is Mastered’ And ‘All The Songs Are Done’

Steel Panther vocalist Michael Starr says the band’s new, as-yet-untitled album is finished and mastered, with a release planned for spring 2027. The announcement sets a date for the California glam metal group’s first full album since 2023 and signals new singles and a tour.

The band is working on the artwork and expects to release singles from February, with touring to follow the album. Its most recent original release was “The Mother’s Day Song” in May, its first new music in three years and its debut single for Frontiers Music Srl. The new record was recorded at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 with longtime producer Jay Ruston.
