Wild Pink will mark the release of its new album, Still Coming Down, with an intimate hometown concert at Cassette in Queens, New York, on 21 August. Presented by Stereogum, the event includes a competition for two free tickets and signals the band’s continued rise within indie rock.

Doors open at 7pm ET, with advance tickets priced at $20 and door tickets at $25; a special guest is also advertised. The album, released through Fire Talk Records, was recorded in Asheville with producer Alex Farrar and collaborators including Meg Duffy and members of the Wednesday/Lenderman circle, and is described as a move towards louder, Southern-influenced rock.
