- The comedy mixes golf with grief, family and warmth.

## Summary

The comedy series *Stick* returns for a second season, with retired golf star Pryce Cahill deciding to revive his playing career and try to win the US Open at 55. The review praises the show as an easygoing, warm comedy that also explores grief, parenthood and the difficulty of letting someone you care about make their own choices.

Pryce first became Santi Wheeler’s mentor after spotting the 17-year-old’s talent; by the end of season one, Santi was a leading young amateur. In the new season, Santi is tempted by the money and glamour of elite golf, while Pryce steps back and sets off with his former caddie Mitts. The show’s found family also includes Santi’s mother Elena, his partner and caddie Zero, and new guest stars, including golfers appearing as themselves.
