The 2026 TMElive International Music Awards brought major Asian and international pop artists to Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Arena on 22-23 August, marking the event’s move from Macao after its first edition last year. Organised by Tencent, the two-day awards show highlighted the global reach of contemporary pop and K-pop, with more than 30 performers appearing before tens of thousands of attendees.

Stray Kids won international group of the year and closed the second night, shortly after their album This & That became their ninth consecutive Billboard 200 number one. TOMORROW X TOGETHER and aespa won best international male and female group respectively, while Charlie Puth was named international artist of the year and TAEYEON most influential international artist. Other winners included BABYMONSTER, Super Junior and several acts representing China, Korea, Japan, Thailand and the United States.
