Deadline · 8 hours ago

Major streaming services including Netflix, Apple TV, Peacock and Disney+ have all raised their subscription prices significantly over recent months, making it increasingly difficult for viewers to keep track of costs. Research firm Antenna reports that both ad-free and ad-supported streaming tiers have risen on average by more than 20% since 2023, reflecting broader economic inflation alongside the platforms' push to increase revenue.

Netflix increased all its tiers by up to $2 monthly, with the Premium plan now at $26.99. Apple TV raised prices to $14.99 per month (up from $4.99 at launch in 2019), whilst Disney+ now costs $11.99 with ads and $18.99 without. Peacock's Premium tier climbed to $10.99, HBO Max raised its ad-supported option by $1, and YouTube TV jumped $10 to $82.99 monthly. Most services now offer both ad-free and ad-supported tiers, complicating the pricing landscape for consumers.
