Love Island USA tops US streaming chart again

Love Island USA returned to the top of Nielsen’s overall streaming chart for 29 June to 5 July, despite viewing slipping slightly from its previous record. The result underlines the programme’s sustained popularity during the summer, while Netflix thriller I Will Find You lost significant ground in its third week.
The Peacock series recorded 1.94 billion minutes viewed, versus 1.97 billion the week before; I Will Find You fell 56 per cent to 1.1 billion minutes. Avatar: The Last Airbender and Worst Neighbor Ever also exceeded one billion minutes, while Yellowstone spin-off Dutton Ranch ended its eight-week first season with 6.04 billion minutes in total. Prime Video’s Project Hail Mary led films with 860 million minutes; Nielsen’s figures cover US viewing on television sets only.
