Streaming Ratings: ‘The Bear’ Slips in Final Season Premiere, ‘I Will Find You’ and ‘Love Island’ Soar

The Hollywood Reporter · 3 hours ago

The final season of FX’s The Bear opened with 587 million minutes watched in the United States during 22-28 June, a 36% fall from its previous season’s premiere week. The decline came amid unusually strong streaming competition and World Cup coverage on linear television, while several other titles exceeded one billion viewing minutes.

Netflix’s I Will Find You remained the most-watched streaming title, rising 35% to 2.48 billion minutes, while Love Island USA reached a record 1.97 billion minutes. Other billion-minute titles included The Last Ship, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Avatar: Fire and Ash and Bluey; Nielsen’s figures cover US viewing on television sets only, excluding computers and mobile devices.

  • The Bear’s final-season launch fell 36% year on year.
  • I Will Find You led streaming for a second week.
  • Love Island USA achieved its strongest weekly viewing total.
