‘Succession’ Fan-Favorite Officially Joins the Cast of ‘Family Guy’

Collider · 4 hours ago

Family Guy has confirmed that Kieran Culkin, best known for his Emmy and Oscar-winning role in Succession, is joining the show's cast to voice the Devil. The announcement came during the show's panel at San Diego Comic-Con, alongside confirmation that the animated comedy's Halloween and Holiday specials will return exclusively to Hulu later this year, continuing a recent tradition of streaming-only events for the long-running series.

Showrunner and executive producer Rich Appel revealed the casting and unveiled a first look at Culkin's character during the panel. The specials are expected to send regular characters Brian and Stewie, both voiced by series creator Seth MacFarlane, to Hell as part of the storyline, continuing the show's pattern of using the Hulu-exclusive specials for more outlandish premises and celebrity guest casting than its usual weekly episodes on Fox.
