## Key points

- Brereton Díaz scored the winner against Wrexham.
- Sheffield United are unbeaten in three matches.
- He says consistency is the next target.

## Summary

Ben Brereton Díaz says Sheffield United must build consistency after beating Wrexham 1-0 at Bramall Lane. The win extended United’s unbeaten run to three matches and moved them to within a point of the play-off places ahead of the weekend fixtures.

Brereton Díaz scored the only goal in the first half, converting from close range after Wrexham goalkeeper Anthony Patterson parried Jordan Ayew’s shot. It was the Southampton loanee’s first goal of the season; United had ten points from their previous five matches but had yet to record consecutive wins. With two matches remaining before the November international break, Brereton Díaz said the team wanted to collect more points and maintain its momentum.
