Dawn is Evercore’s global head of private capital advisory and is described as a wealthy lifelong Sheffield United supporter who grew up in the city. Evercore has advised on nearly $5 trillion of deals since its 1995 founding, while United’s owners have recently placed the club under US-registered 1919 Partners and face a £35 million winding-up petition from former owner Prince Abdullah over alleged unpaid purchase instalments.
