## Key points

- Bravo renews *In the City* for season two.
- *Southern Hospitality* will return for season five.
- Bravo has yet to confirm *In the City*’s cast.

## Summary

The new report confirms that Bravo has renewed *In the City* for a second season and *Southern Hospitality* for a fifth, extending two reality series as the network brings fans together in Charleston. The update follows *In the City*’s strong launch and renewed viewer interest after events involving its cast changed the story the first season had been intended to tell.

*In the City* follows New Yorkers through major life changes and averaged two million viewers across platforms in seven days, a figure for the wider *Summer House* franchise’s performance as a top-three Bravo freshman series of the past five years. Bravo has not confirmed the second-season cast or whether Amanda Batula will return; new scenes were filmed after Batula and West Wilson disclosed their relationship, which changed the context of footage about her marriage to Kyle Cooke. *Southern Hospitality* follows friends working in Charleston’s hospitality scene; Leva Bonaparte is no longer expected to be part of the show, though she and her husband remain credited as executive producers.
