Supernatural, the virtual-reality fitness app previously owned by Meta, will relaunch later in 2026 as an independent company after Meta cut staff and paused new content in January. Its head of fitness, Leanne Pedante, says the smaller organisation hopes to restore popular features quickly, revive content production and preserve the app’s close-knit community.

The service will return to its original price of $20 a month or $200 annually, although founding members can pay $180 for their first year. Supernatural says its library of more than 3,000 workouts, coaches and virtual environments will return, subject to music licensing, and it plans limited quarterly hardship scholarships; users still need a Meta Quest headset, costing about $350 for a Quest 3S or $600 for a Quest 3.
