## Summary

Insomniac Games has released a cinematic trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine, its forthcoming PS5 exclusive, introducing Lady Deathstrike as a new antagonist. The trailer emphasises Wolverine’s brutal combat and healing ability, reinforcing expectations that the game will portray the character’s violence more explicitly than many superhero titles.

Lady Deathstrike, also known as Yuriko Oyama, is linked to the scientist behind Wolverine’s adamantium-bonding procedure and is a longstanding Wolverine and X-Men enemy. The game is scheduled to launch on 15 September, while online discussion has also focused on Sony’s reported plan to end physical-game releases in 2028, despite no further comment from the company.
