## Key points

- Wednesday reportedly near experienced Championship midfielder
- Player has made 184 Championship appearances
- Deal has not been confirmed

## Summary

Reports suggest Sheffield Wednesday are close to signing a midfielder with 184 Championship appearances. If completed, the move would add experience to Wednesday’s options in the centre of the pitch.

The available article text does not identify the player, proposed terms or timing of a deal. The report should therefore be treated as an indication of ongoing transfer interest rather than confirmation of a signing.
