Former Clark County Judge Jackie Glass has died in Las Vegas aged 70. She was widely known for sentencing OJ Simpson to 33 years in prison in 2008 for armed robbery and kidnapping, and later for hosting the final season of the television court programme Swift Justice.

Glass served on Nevada’s Eighth Judicial District Court for eight years and hosted Swift Justice from 2011 to 2012 after succeeding Nancy Grace. She is survived by her husband, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson, and her daughters Rebecca and Rachel Wolfson; the cause of death was not reported.
