## Summary

*Creed*, Ryan Coogler’s 2015 revival of the *Rocky* franchise, is enjoying renewed success on streaming, showing the film’s lasting appeal more than a decade after its release. The story follows Adonis Creed, played by Michael B. Jordan, who asks Rocky Balboa, played by Sylvester Stallone, to train and mentor him.

The film has spent 70 days in Pluto TV’s US top ten. Its success is part of the wider rise of Jordan and Coogler, whose later film *Sinners* won four Academy Awards earlier this year, including Best Actor for Jordan. The original *Rocky* received ten Oscar nominations and won Best Picture.
