System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian has landed an acting role in Season 2 of "Dexter: Resurrection," the Paramount+ series continuing the story of vigilante serial killer Dexter Morgan, played by Michael C. Hall. The casting was revealed through newly released "First Look" images shared by executive producer Marcos Siega, who previously worked with Odadjian directing System of a Down's well-known "Chop Suey!" music video, marking a reunion between the two.

In the show, Odadjian plays a character named R.H. Martin, who appears set to become one of Dexter's targets, according to the released stills. The new season is expected to air later in 2026, though an exact date has not been confirmed. The news comes amid a busy period for System of a Down, who have announced an early 2027 tour of Australia and New Zealand alongside Faith No More, and are due to headline the Sick New World festival in Fort Worth, Texas, on 24 October 2026.
