## Summary

T-Mobile has launched a promotion offering customers a free Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, its newest foldable smartphone normally worth $1,900, as the device rides a wave of publicity from its appearances in the film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day". Samsung says pre-orders for the new Galaxy Z line have already broken the company's own record, and the carrier's offer is being billed as its best free-phone deal to date, extending a scheme it introduced with the iPhone 17 Pro in autumn 2025.

New and existing T-Mobile customers can get the Galaxy Z Fold8 free with a trade-in on the Experience Beyond plan, or the larger Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra for just $200, also a $1,900 saving; those without a device to trade in can still get $1,100 off the Ultra by activating a new line. The Galaxy Z Flip8 is available for $100 with a new line or trade-in on the Experience More or Experience Beyond plans. The Fold8 range, promoted as Samsung's most advanced and lightest foldables yet, went on pre-order on 22 July with an official release date of 7 August.
