Tate McRae Stars in Adidas’ New Originals Sport Collection Inspired by the Superstar Tracksuit
Adidas has launched Originals Sport, a new women’s collection combining workout-focused materials with the styling of its classic streetwear, led by a campaign featuring singer Tate McRae. Inspired by the Superstar tracksuit, the range is intended to work both for exercise and everyday wear, reflecting Adidas’s effort to connect sport, music and wider culture.
The collection debuted in New York on 22 July and went on sale on 23 July, with bras, leggings, shorts, tanks, onesies and layering pieces included. Campaign figures also include singer Emilia Mernes and volleyball player Harper Murray; garments use features such as Climacool ventilation, AdiSoft fabric and LYCRA Adaptiv, while retaining Trefoil logos and three-stripe detailing. Prices cited range from $45 for shorts to $70 for leggings, a onesie and a cover-up.
