Taylor Swift has announced three additional songs for release this Friday, expanding her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl into The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore. The release will include “Patient Zero”, announced the previous day, alongside “Cleveland!”, “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon”, and Swift said the songs were written out of gratitude for the album’s success.

Swift said the original album achieved the biggest first week for an album in history, prompting her and collaborators Max Martin and Shellback to write more material during a trip to Sweden. The expanded album will feature new cover photography by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and its launch coincides with Swift receiving the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors on 27 September.
