Taylor Swift has received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Taylor Swift/The Eras Tour/The Final Show, recognised as both performer and producer in the outstanding variety special (pre-recorded) category. The nod is expected to be the first of many honours in a busy awards year for the singer, who is also widely tipped for an Oscar nomination and multiple Grammy nods in the coming months.

The Disney+ special earned five nominations in total and competes against Dave Chappelle: The Unstoppable, The Muppet Show, Nikki Glaser: Good Girl and Wicked: One Wonderful Night. Elsewhere in this year's nominations, Bad Bunny's Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show set a record with nine nods, The Pitt led all programmes with 25 and Hacks set a comedy record with 24. Final-round voting runs from 17 to 26 August, with the Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Mariska Hargitay, airing on 14 September on NBC.
