Taylor Swift Scores First Emmy Nominations in Over 10 Years for ‘The Eras Tour: The Final Show’
Taylor Swift has received five nominations at the 78th Emmy Awards for her concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show, marking her first Emmy recognition in more than a decade. The nods arrive just days after her wedding to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, adding to a run of high-profile moments for the singer.
The film is nominated for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Best Directing for a Variety Special (Glenn Weiss), Outstanding Picture Editing, Outstanding Sound Mixing, and Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork. Premiered on Disney+ in December 2025, it captured the tour's final stop at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver and was released alongside a six-part documentary, The End of an Era. Swift will compete against specials from Nikki Glaser, Dave Chappelle and Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. The Primetime Emmys air on 14 September on NBC and Peacock, hosted by Mariska Hargitay.
