- It will explore the fans’ response and online radicalisation.
- ZDF plans to air it in October 2027.

## Summary

A documentary provisionally titled “Taylor Swift Wien” will examine the foiled plot that led to the cancellation of Taylor Swift’s three Vienna concerts in August 2024. The film will explore online radicalisation and toxic masculinity alongside the Swifties’ community, and how the attack was prevented.

Co-directed by Andreas Pichler and Veronika Kaserer, the documentary will follow intelligence agencies’ efforts to stop the plot, three fans who organised psychological support, and the alleged perpetrator, then 19-year-old Beran A., who had pledged allegiance to Islamic State. More than 200,000 people were expected at the concerts; the film is planned to air on German broadcaster ZDF in October 2027, followed by an international release.
