## Summary

Hundreds of people gathered at Caldera High School in Bend, Oregon, to remember Megan Lambert, a 25-year-old teacher killed in the shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School. Friends, relatives, former teachers and colleagues celebrated her commitment to students and the wider community, describing her as kind, joyful and curious.

Lambert was one of four people killed in the attack, which the article says was carried out by 16-year-old John J Griffin. She also coached at Central Oregon Volleyball Club and had wanted her coaching pay to help young athletes who could not afford to play.
