- Nine people died while travelling from Texas to the Bahamas.
- Investigators say severe weather may have contributed.

## Summary

Tech entrepreneur Adam Robinson’s earlier post about prioritising time with family has resurfaced after he, his wife, two young children and five other people died in a plane crash in Florida. The post described how Robinson and his startup co-founders aimed to finish work by 5 or 5.30pm, a choice that has drawn attention amid the news of the family’s final trip.

The nine people were travelling from Austin to the Bahamas to celebrate Robinson’s birthday when their Learjet 60 crashed near West Palm Beach. The co-pilot told air traffic control the aircraft was descending rapidly and had banked sharply; she had also texted her boyfriend about turbulence and ice. US investigators said severe weather may have played a significant role and that part of the jet appeared to have broken off.
