Nick Mohammed, best known for playing Nate in "Ted Lasso" and Zafar Jaffrey in "Slow Horses," has been confirmed to host "The Traitors – Acts of Betrayal," a West End stage adaptation of the popular reality format. Producers Studio Lambert and Neal Street Productions announced the casting via a video in which "The Traitors" TV host Claudia Winkleman swore Mohammed into the role, filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, the same setting used for the BBC show. The production marks a notable expansion of the format beyond television, with Mohammed himself having competed as a finalist on the first series of "The Celebrity Traitors."

Written by John Finnemore and directed by Robert Hastie, the show consists of five interlinked plays, each compressing a full round of the game into a single sitting, and will open at the Gillian Lynne Theatre on Drury Lane, with previews from 11 May 2027. Uniquely, weekday performances branch into five different storylines from the same starting point, while Saturday audiences vote on who takes the "traitor" role, determining which script unfolds. "The Traitors" format, created by IDTV and distributed by All3Media International (part of Banijay Entertainment), has been licensed in more than 40 territories, and the stage rights were negotiated through the same distributor.
