A 14-year-old girl is in a critical condition after an allegedly stolen Honda Jazz crashed on Melbourne’s Peninsula Link. A second 14-year-old girl travelling as a passenger was also taken to hospital, though her injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The crash occurred at about 10.15pm on Wednesday near the Cranbourne-Frankston Road exit, after the car reportedly lost control and rolled several times. Police said the Honda had allegedly been stolen from outside a Chadstone gym on 23 July and are appealing for witnesses or dash-cam footage.
