Mubi has expanded its theatrical distribution partnership with Madman Entertainment, an independent Australian and New Zealand distributor, to bring five international festival award-winners to cinemas across the region. The slate comprises selections that received accolades at major festivals including Cannes and Berlinale this year.

Jane Schoenbrun's 'Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma,' winner of the Queer Palm at Cannes, will lead the rollout in August across both territories. The release schedule also includes Paweł Pawlikowski's 'Fatherland,' which competed at Cannes where Pawlikowski won Best Director, alongside Lukas Dhont's 'Coward,' a World War I drama centred on queer relationships that attracted acting honours at the festival. Two Berlinale selections complete the package: 'Rosebush Pruning' and 'Rose,' with the latter featuring a Silver Bear-winning performance from Sandra Hüller.
