Melbourne indie-rock trio Telenova have cancelled their entire forthcoming UK and European tour because overseas touring costs have become unsustainable. The band said they were “heartbroken”, particularly because several dates were expected to become their biggest overseas headline shows, highlighting the financial difficulties Australian acts face when touring internationally.

The October dates had already been postponed because of international conflicts and rising travel costs, but the situation worsened and all tickets will be refunded. Telenova thanked fans for their support, will host a digital meet-and-greet and Q&A for their new album, *The Warning*, and will still tour Australia in November, including support slots with Spacey Jane.
