Tesla has launched a $225 balance bike for toddlers, extending its branded merchandise range beyond cars into children's products. The pedal-free, motorless bike is designed to be pushed along with the feet and is aimed at getting young children familiar with the Tesla brand from an early age, following a similar approach to its earlier partnership on a Radio Flyer children's ride-on toy.

The bike features a lightweight white magnesium frame, a five-way adjustable black seat, assembly tools, a "Tesla" wordmark on the side and the T logo at the front. It is intended for children aged two to five, weighing under 77 pounds with legs shorter than 13 inches. At $225 it sits near the top end of the balance bike market, where most models cost under $100, though it lacks brakes unlike some pricier rivals such as the Woom 1. Tesla has sold children's items before, including a $1,900 Cyberquad ATV that was recalled over child safety standards, and the new balance bike has already sold out on Tesla's website.
