Country singer Jake Worthington, the 2014 runner-up on The Voice, has returned to touring after an eight-week break he took earlier this year to focus on his wellbeing and family. He announced the hiatus in May, saying the demands of a touring musician's lifestyle had begun to take a toll on him and that he needed time away for his wife and daughter, before promising fans he would "come back even better."

Worthington confirmed his return via Instagram, thanking fans, family and colleagues for their patience and support during his time off. He has a full slate of shows lined up for the rest of 2026, starting with a performance alongside Luke Bryan at the Summit Arena at the Monument on 30 July, and continuing across the US through to a final date in Waco, Texas, on 5 December.
