## Summary

Stereogum's weekly roundup highlights five new tracks its staff consider standouts, spanning genres from dance and R&B to country-rock and drum and bass. The list reflects the publication's ongoing effort to spotlight emerging and established artists producing notable new material, with picks compiled based on releases from the preceding week.

Topping the list is Lily Seabird's "Portal To The Past", a country-rock epic ahead of her album Lightspheres On Their Way, praised for its yearning vocals and Neil Young-esque guitar work. Other entries include Nia Archives' breakbeat-driven "Get Me Down" featuring Jorja Smith, Josaleigh Pollett's "Bed Of Quiet" (co-made with Chris Walla), GB's guitar-pop track "The Next Day", and Confidence Man's 1990s dance pastiche "Young London". The songs are also compiled on Stereogum's weekly Spotify playlist.
