## Key points

- The Chicks postponed their Los Angeles show due to illness.
- The concert is now scheduled for 4 November.
- Ticket holders can attend the new date or seek refunds.

## Summary

The Chicks postponed their Los Angeles concert on Monday, 2 November, just hours before the Dolby Theatre was due to open, citing illness. The show has been rescheduled for Wednesday, 4 November; the late change disrupted plans for some fans who had travelled long distances, including from Canada.

Existing tickets will be honoured on the new date, while those unable to attend can request refunds from their point of purchase. The concert is part of the group’s Taking the Long Way 20th anniversary tour. The album reflected the backlash after Natalie Maines criticised President George W. Bush and opposed the Iraq War in 2003; it later won five Grammy Awards.
