The Darkness have announced a surprise intimate show at London's Moth Club, billed as "Crock Of Hits", ahead of their UK arena tour supporting 2025 album "Dreams On Toast". Frontman Justin Hawkins and bandmates will play the venue on 17 September, with the show promising a self-curated "best of" set. The gig also lends support to Moth Club, an independent venue whose future has been threatened by nearby housing development plans.

Presale tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 8 September, followed by general sale on Thursday 10 September. The venue's survival has been under threat from two planning applications for flats on the neighbouring Morning Road, submitted to Hackney Council, which had received over 27,000 objection emails as of December 2025; Music Venue Trust has warned that losing Moth Club would pose an "existential threat" to grassroots venues nationwide. The Moth Club date precedes The Darkness's December arena tour, which follows their high-profile support slot at Iron Maiden's Knebworth Park show in July, with bandmate Dan Hawkins noting the group has built a dedicated "cult fanbase" since reforming in 2011.
