## Key points

- Owners report cracks near the iPhone Duo’s inner hinge.
- One customer said Apple replaced their phone immediately.
- The reports do not show how widespread the issue is.

## Summary

Several iPhone Duo owners have reported cracked inner screens, with damage appearing near the hinge and bright lines across the display. The reports surfaced on the phone’s first day of sale and raise questions about whether the foldable screen or hinge may have a fault.

Posts on Reddit show multiple affected devices, though the reports do not establish how common the problem is or what caused it. One Australian owner said their screen cracked after fewer than 20 openings, without visible marks suggesting external damage; an Apple Store replaced the phone on the spot. Apple had not immediately commented.
