CBS's supernatural comedy "Ghosts" is set to gain a companion series this autumn, with "Eternally Yours" joining the network's Thursday night line-up. Created by "Ghosts" showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, the new show premiered its pilot to attendees at San Diego Comic-Con, followed by a cast panel that fuelled speculation about a possible crossover between the two series. The development matters for fans as it signals an expansion of the "Ghosts" comedic universe into new supernatural territory, centred this time on vampires rather than spirits.

At the Comic-Con panel, moderated by Collider's Perri Nemiroff, cast members from "Eternally Yours" shared which "Ghosts" characters they would like their roles to interact with. Ed Weeks (who plays vampire patriarch Charles) imagined a rivalry with Isaac over group leadership, while Jaren Lewinson (Max) pictured a mundane, grounded hangout with Jay. Allegra Edwards, who previously guest-starred on "Ghosts" as Pete's ex-girlfriend Donna, joked about confusing Pete with her resemblance to that character, and Helen J. Shen envisioned an amusing exchange with the trouserless ghost Trevor. No official crossover has yet been confirmed by CBS.
