## Summary

A new trailer for *The Liberation* shows Carrie Coon as Rita, a mother who leaves her family to join an all-female commune led by Ricki, played by Lily James. The thriller explores how the group’s appeal draws Rita and her daughters into its world, putting her family ties against her belief that the commune can change her life.

Written and directed by Guy Nattiv, the film also stars Bella Ramsey and Odessa Young as Rita’s daughters, and Tracy Letts as her husband. The story centres on Rita’s choice after her daughters arrive unexpectedly and become drawn to the group; the film is due in cinemas from 8 January.
