## Key points

- Prime Video India and CJ ENM finalised a deal for 100+ Korean titles
- 26 new releases included "Yumi's Cells" Season 3 and "Kitchen Soldier"
- Deal builds on prior 2025 agreements, adding Hindi, Tamil, Telugu dubbing

## Summary

Prime Video India and South Korean studio CJ ENM concluded a multi-year distribution deal that brought more than 100 Korean titles to the streamer over two years, including 26 brand-new releases such as "Yumi's Cells" Season 3 and breakout series "The Legend of Kitchen Soldier". The tie-up sharpened the companies' focus specifically on India, building on a broader global agreement signed in 2025, as streamers competed to capitalise on the growing appetite for Korean drama among Indian audiences.

The new titles were localised with English subtitles and Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubbing, and the slate spanned genres including romance, thriller, fantasy and action, featuring stars such as Kim You-jung, Lee Jong-suk and Park Ji-hoon. It followed a global rights deal struck in May 2025 at Mumbai's WAVES Bazaar market, which had given Prime Video worldwide rights (excluding Korea and China) to CJ ENM titles, and a separate September 2025 licensing deal that brought 18 K-dramas to Amazon's free, ad-supported MX Player service in India. Executives from both companies framed the agreement as deepening their existing partnership and reflecting the sustained global momentum of Korean content.
