The Linda Lindas have released a new track, "Blood On Our Hands", a hardcore-leaning song addressing injustice and incompetence in the current global climate. The release forms part of the punk band's continued push into heavier territory and previews their forthcoming full-length album, due out later this month.

Bassist Eloise Wong said the song reflects the difficulty of staying hopeful in dark times, and encourages people to consider their everyday choices, such as where they spend their money, as a form of activism beyond organised boycotts and marches. "Blood On Our Hands" will feature on the band's new album, "Gotta Get Out", released on 28 August via Reprise/Warner Records, which will also include the track "Closer" featuring a guest appearance from Hayley Williams.
