Amazon has confirmed a new Lord of the Rings publication, The Fall of Númenor Deluxe Edition: And Other Tales from the Second Age of Middle-earth, will be released worldwide on 10 November. The announcement comes during a busy week for Tolkien fans, coinciding with fresh images from The Rings of Power Season 3 and continued anticipation for the upcoming film The Hunt for Gollum, reinforcing renewed momentum behind the franchise across formats.

The deluxe edition is now available for pre-order at $75 and runs to 352 pages, featuring illustrations by veteran Tolkien artist Alan Lee. Set before the events of The Fellowship of the Ring, the book follows the Elves of Eregion as they forge the Rings of Power under Sauron's influence, with the text edited by Christopher Tolkien from his father's original writings. Its release falls just a day before Rings of Power Season 3 premieres on Prime Video on 11 November.
