The Mac Miller Estate announces ‘The Divine Feminine (10th Anniversary)’ and share the first of three new songs, ‘Butterflies’

NME · 4 hours ago

The estate of Mac Miller is releasing a special edition marking ten years since the 2016 album 'The Divine Feminine' arrived. The album represents a pivotal moment in Miller's artistic evolution, moving towards a more emotionally introspective style centred on love and feminine power—a significant shift from the rap-dominated approach of his prior work.

The anniversary edition includes three previously unheard tracks, with 'Butterflies' being released first. The song features production from Taylor Graves and bass contributions from Thundercat, a long-time collaborator. The reissue arrives on October 2 in both digital and vinyl formats, whilst the estate has also unveiled a new website serving as an interactive archive of Miller's life and creative work, drawing on materials shared by friends and associates.
