## Summary

The Government has urged households to prepare for a possible national crisis, prompting a poll asking whether readers approve of Labour’s advice. The campaign describes the preparations as small steps intended to help people cope if essential services are disrupted.

Recommendations include keeping three days’ worth of food and water, having a wind-up radio and holding enough cash to get by if electronic payments stop working. The poll results are due to appear in the following day’s Morning Mail newsletter.
