Producer Andrew Watt, 35, has emerged as one of music's most sought-after collaborators, working across genres with artists including Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Madonna and Lady Gaga. In an interview with Collider, Watt discussed a remarkably busy 2026, during which he has produced or co-written major albums for several legendary and contemporary acts, alongside earning an Emmy nomination for his work with Lady Gaga.

Highlights of his year include producing and co-writing Paul McCartney's album The Boys of Dungeon Lane, released in May 2026 after four years in the making, and Foreign Tongues, his second collaboration with The Rolling Stones, released in July alongside Madonna's latest album, which he also produced and helped write. Watt also received an Emmy nomination for "The Dead Dance", a song he created with Lady Gaga for Tim Burton's Wednesday, following on from their work together on her album Mayhem; he described the track's origins in a viral fan-driven dance trend from the show's first season.
