The New Yorker has announced the speaker lineup for its 2026 festival, which returns to New York City from 23 to 25 October as part of the magazine's annual "celebration of culture and ideas." Chat show host Conan O'Brien headlines the event, appearing in conversation with New Yorker editor David Remnick, alongside a broad mix of actors, musicians, authors and journalists.

Confirmed guests include Parker Posey, Aaron Sorkin, Mahershala Ali, Mariska Hargitay, Michael Douglas, Hannah Einbinder and Gloria Steinem, while musical performers include Pixies, Wynton Marsalis and King Princess. Authors such as Colson Whitehead, Min Jin Lee and Louise Erdrich will also take part, alongside live recordings of New Yorker podcasts "Critics at Large" and "The Political Scene," plus panels including "The Future of AI" and "Portraits in Power." Autograph Hotels will again host the festival's VIP party at the Algonquin Hotel, and tickets go on general sale on Wednesday 2 September, with discounts for New Yorker subscribers.
