## Summary

Disney has confirmed a new project set in the world of *The Princess and the Frog*, after the project was reportedly cancelled last year. Walt Disney Animation Studios chief creative officer Jared Bush said it is in active production and will be a self-contained television special for Disney+, rather than an ongoing series.

Bush said the special will feature new songs and members of the original cast, and described it as “pretty spectacular”. He said it would be available “soon”, but gave no release date or further details. The confirmation came during an interview at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival.
